When using humidity data loggers, getting a real-time signal can depend more on the process and environmental conditions than on the strength of the signal from the logger itself. Some situations require giving the signal a “boost” in order to maintain real-time data acquisition.
Mesa has developed a solution to address weak data logger signal levels. Our MPRF repeater will process incoming signals from your data loggers, amplifying and repeating them to a MPRF PC interface to ensure data is received and available in DataTrace Pro.
If transmission distances are long, more than one repeater can be employed to repeat a logger’s signal. The repeater is AC-powered with a battery backup and works well inside a NEMA enclosure for harsh environments and long-term installation.
Real-time process data collection has been the goal for almost every process manufacturer. Real-time access to data as it is collected allows for better, more efficient control of your process. Increasing signal strength is vital when walls or equipment attenuate RF signals and make data delivery less than ideal.
Mesa’s humidity data loggers provide precise humidity data and monitors RH across the full range, from 0% to 100% at temperatures from 0°C (32°F) to 85°C (185°F).
