Get to know your MPIII data logger. This guide provides information on calibration, new equipment, protecting your logger, changing the battery, and more.
Monitoring the inside of a can is a crucial step for manufacturers to ensure the safety of their products for general consumption. Mesa offers several accessories to place the DataTrace data logger probe in the geometric center of the unit, regardless of the can size.
ATEX 6057 MPIII Data Loggers Certificate
Part of DataTrace’s comprehensive data logger solution is the wireless MPIII Pressure Data Logger that requires minimal training to use.
The highly accurate MPIII DataTrace Humidity Data Logger monitors RH across the full range, from 0% to 100% at temperatures from 0°C (32°F) to 85°C (185°F).
Adaptable to almost any situation, MPIII Temperature Data Loggers measure less than an inch (without probe or Thermal Pack).
These thermal barriers are designed to insulate the data logger body from high temperatures, while allowing the temperature probe to extend out into the environment. All of the barriers work well in a dry environment and most will work in liquid environments, such as hot oil baths.
The speed at which a data logger responds to a change in temperature can be critical to monitoring a process accurately. The DataTrace Response to Change has terms and conditions for analysis.
DataTrace Data loggers Technical Note
Use this guide to help change the battery for a DataTrace MPIII data logger. This quick start guide is intended to use the tools provided in the MPIII Maintenance Kit (part number 124808-500).

ATEX 6026 MPRF Data loggers Certificate
A recent addition to the complete DataTrace RF Data Logging System, the MPRF
Pressure Data Logger requires minimal training and features batch programming for fast and simple set up.
For processes that are sensitive to humidity, even small changes can dramatically affect product production, storage and shipping. The DataTrace MPRF relative humidity data logger can help.
Adaptable to almost any situation, the DataTrace MPRF Temperature data logger’s small size increases versatility and precision by allowing you to position the data logger very near or inside your target products.
The speed at which a DataTrace data logger sensor responds to a change in temperature can be critical to monitoring a process accurately. The DataTrace Response to change has terms and conditions for analysis.
The DataTrace Network Repeater is able to take weak data logger signals from within a process and repeat them to an MPRF PC Interface. The repeater is AC powered, but can operate on battery for a period of time and works well when placed inside a NEMA enclosure for harsh environments and long-term installation.
The DataTrace ultra-life battery has better performance than the standard temperature battery for low-temperature applications.
